Dancenter was founded by Carrie Putrello in 1998 with the vision of creating a welcoming dance school that provides quality education to the Central New York community. Our mission is to foster a positive, uplifting environment that gives students the tools they need to grow—both as dancers and as individuals. We offer classes for all ages and levels and remain committed to making dance accessible to everyone.
Our faculty is highly educated and passionate about the field of dance. It is our highest priority to deliver strong technical training while nurturing self-expression, creativity, and a lifelong love of the art. We believe that dance builds confidence, resilience, discipline, and social connection, and we are dedicated to supporting each student’s overall well-being both in and out of the studio.
